How Many Years Is The Silver Anniversary?

The silver anniversary is also known as the 25th wedding anniversary because it marks 25 years of marriage. It is an important milestone marking a quarter of a century of love, commitment & partnership. A couple who have reached this milestone have likely raised children together, weathered any storms of their relationship and enjoyed many years of friendship. Reaching this milestone calls for a celebration but why?
